The month ahead in pictures: September

Although the summer holidays are coming to an end, there's still plenty to look forward to throughout the month, from vintage days to deer safaris.

 Holkham Hall hosts a Chamber Music Concert with the Carducci Quartet in the stunning Marble Hall on 15th September. More info


Noirwich Crime Writing Festival returns 14-17 September. Authors include Val McDermid, Anthony Horowitz, Martina Cole, Mark Billingham, Arne Dahl and Stuart MacBride. More info

Greater Anglia have Advance fares from £10 one way between London Liverpool Street and Norwich. Trains run every 30 minutes. Greater Anglia also serves Colchester, Ipswich and Diss on the Norwich line. Direct trains also run from Cambridge.

East Midlands Trains runs services from Liverpool, Manchester and Nottingham.

Flights into Norwich served from Edinburgh, Manchester, Exeter, Aberdeen, Jersey*, Guernsey* and Amsterdam.
