Six things to do this week!

Guided Walking Tour of Norwich
Friday 1st June, 11:00 to 12:30

"A Pub for every day of the year".

Norwich was once said to have a church for every week, and a pub for every day of the year. It was certainly home to more than 700 pubs, taverns, and alehouses, and this guided walk will take you around some of them. Explore their names and origins, and learn about the people and some of the things which went on in them.

The walk starts outside the Forum at 11am and will last approximately 90 minutes. Tickets cost £5.00 per person. Places are limited so please book at the Tourist Information Centre or via their on-line shop.

The Thinking Men - OPEN Norwich
Friday 1st June, 7pm to 9.30pm

“By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes"

With these words Shakespeare could very well be describing the sound of The Thinking Men. It is a dark devilish affair, a deliciously instinctive seduction walking the rim of nightmares while channelling inspirations from the likes of Tom Waits, Nick Cave, The Doors and Jack White into something boldly individual.

(Tickets £7)

Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios
From Saturday 26th May 2018 to Sunday 10th June 2018

Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios is a 16-day county-wide celebration of the arts and a key event in Norfolk’s visual arts calendar. Artists across the region take part each year, inviting the public into their private studios to reveal where and how they work.

The event attracts thousands of visitors and in 2017 an estimated 28,000 people visited studios across the county. Art lovers and curious first timers alike tour the county enjoying this special opportunity to find out more about where and how artists work as well as buy artwork directly from the artist. Artists have the opportunity to promote their work and meet their audience, and visitors get to see artwork as it happens.

Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios is delivered by Norfolk & Norwich Festival as an organisation, in partnership with and for the benefit of Norfolk artists.
