Free Admission Days at Museum of Norwich and Strangers' Hall
From Tuesday 24th July 2018 to Sunday 5th August 2018
For two whole weeks you can visit The Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell and Strangers’ Hall completely for free, courtesy of the Norwich Freemen. Both museums are amazing, and tell the story of Norwich’s past in who very different ways: The Norwich Museum at the Bridewell is an interactive journey through Norwich’s whole lifetime, in a building which was once a place where petty criminals and ‘vagrants’ were sent. ‘Strangers Hall’ is a doll’s house that recreates the rooms in this 14th century merchant’s house, as they once looked during different centuries. It’s AMAZING, and must be seen to be believed!
Please check each venue for opening times.
History Mystery - Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell
Various times - check website for details
Sticking with The Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell, they have JUST opened a brand new escape room in the Medieval Merchant’s Vaults beneath the museum. We did it two weeks ago, and didn’t make it out! Based on real storylines from Norwich’s past, and taking cues from the exhibits within the museum, the escape room sees a group of you racing against the clock to solve puzzles, lateral thinking problems and historical mysteries. It is immense fun; we couldn’t recommend this enough.
Prices from £30 for 2 players off-peak, up to £130 for 8 players.
