The second in our series of films about Norwich has arrived: The Rambler.
Featuring local rambler Mike King, the film takes us on a journey of the special green spaces Mike enjoys around Norwich. Whitlingham Country Park offers over 280 acres of wildlife and natural landscapes; it’s the ‘Gateway to the Broads’- the only national park in the country that flows into a city and it’s walkable from the centre of Norwich.
The film concludes with a cityscape view from Mousehold Heath - an iconic scene as locals are aware - over Norwich. Mousehold - designated local nature reserve - whilst not close to the water, lies north-east of the city with some 200 acres of woodland and heathland to enjoy.
Norwich is a thriving, cultural city yet this film explores the many ways of weaving into a stay, visits to thriving natural areas of beauty; walking and cycling routes, water pursuits, tranquil areas to picnic and so much more.
