The Perfect Escape for Summer

25 June 2016

HIg Res East View Farm Norfolk

This summer, channel that just-been-for-a-stroll-in-the-countryside, relaxed, no-worries feeling by… actually getting out into the countryside for a relaxing break in Norfolk!

East View Farm Holiday Cottages have the perfect blend of location, facilities and those little added extras that make a trip so enjoyable; read on to find out why we’re lusting after a break there!

East View Farm Holiday Cottages Nutmeg 2

First up, it’s decision time: there are two delightful cottages to choose from (both self-catering) depending on how many people you’re staying with. Plum Tree Cottage sleeps six and Nutmeg Cottage sleeps two, with both graded as 5 star gold by Visit Britain so you can be sure you’ll be staying in luxury! What’s wonderful about these cottages is that they’re beautifully converted from traditional Norfolk barns with the original oak-beams remaining to add to their character and rustic charm – but with upgrades to add extra comfort, including free Wi-Fi, a log-burning stove, fully fitted and equipped kitchen and a luxury en-suite wet room with walk-in shower.

On a balmy summer’s evening throw open the south-facing patio doors to your own private garden and access to the beautiful landscaped grounds; run wild in the grassy woodland area – there’s even a miniature railway to explore.

Because of the proximity to waterways - central Wroxham - you can experience luxury self-catering in the Norfolk countryside whilst staying within easy reach not only of the vibrant city of stories, Norwich (20 minutes away by car), but also near to the beautiful North Norfolk coast and Broads National Park (it’s dubbed Britain’s Magical Waterland for a reason – there’s so much to see and do here!).

Throw in free parking for residents and some remaining availability for this summer (late availability for Plum Tree Cottage in July and some availability for Nutmeg Cottage in August, click here for more details) and, quite frankly, you’d be mad to miss it!
