26th November – Children’s Christmas Cake Class
Decorate one of Kate's delicious traditional fruit cakes, made to her own recipe, as a very cute Father Christmas. Take it home in a gift box either to enjoy yourself, or maybe give as a gift! For children aged 8 years and over, cost £100.00
3rd December – Produce your most memorable Christmas Ever!
Kate will show you simple effective techniques to ice a masterpiece! The class includes a delicious traditional fruit cake to take home, either to enjoy yourself on the big day or as a present for someone special. Cost £150.00
10th December – Children’s Festive Baking Class
While you finish off that last minute Christmas shopping, why not leave the youngsters here to get ahead with some festive baking? Posh Sausage rolls, stained glass window biscuits and a chocolate log complete with hand modelled robin! Cost £80.00
16th December – Festive Baking
Make your Christmas memorable for all the right reasons. Stock up ready for your guests with sweet orange pastry mince pies three ways with frangipane, Viennese whirl and pretty pastry tops, posh festive-filled sausage rolls with homemade rough puff pastry, Stollen, and a stunning chocolate log with hand moulded chocolate roses and holly, to ensure a stress-free festive break. Printmaking Courses at Print to the People
Print to the People is a Norwich based organisation dedicated to the production and promotion of traditional printmaking processes. With the help of volunteers, they provide affordable and accessible printmaking facilities for artists, designers, students, community groups and the public. So if you feel like giving something a little different this Christmas, AND learning a new skill, why not try one of these courses?
Drypoint & Etching Weekend
A two day workshop introducing you to the traditional printmaking processes of drypoint and etching. You’ll see examples and demonstrations, before coming up with designs for your own A6 drypoint and copper etchings. Under the guidance of a tutor you’ll create your plate, and have time to print your own small editions of prints. Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th November : 10am-4pm : £122.50
Screen Print Taster Day
Screen print your own edition of 10 A4 prints! This one day work shop is ideal for those of you who have never screen printed before and want to come and see what all the fuss is about or those of you who need may need a little refresher! The day includes a full induction to the studios (so you’ll be able to attend open access sessions in the future), ink mixing, preparing your screen and printing your own small one colour edition! Saturday 25th November : 10.30am - 4.30pm : £62.50
An evening of ‘Hot Printing’ action using antique wood & metal type to create your own fun designs. This short workshop is for those wishing to dip their toe into the world of Letterpress and have a good time! Participants should come away with a series of postcard sized, A4 & A3 unique prints and hopefully the Letterpress bug! Drinks on arrival – go and join the Print Party! Wednesday 6th December : 6-9pm : £32.50

Wreath Making at Fairhaven Garden
Come home every night to a beautiful handmade Christmas wreath, lovingly made by you using materials fresh from a Norfolk garden.
Create a fabulous wreath to hang on your door using fresh foliage and natural materials from the Fairhaven woodland garden. All materials supplied, just bring secateurs and an apron. No previous experience necessary.

Holkham Hall Marble Hall at Christmas

Craft Workshop - A Natural Christmas for children
Sunday 3rd & 10th December, 10.30am & 1pm
Families, get creative and into the Christmas spirit! Join the festive workshop and make some decorations to take away using a combination of natural materials including berries, twigs, pinecones, greenery and moss. You can even add a spot of Christmas sparkle too.
Please be aware that, weather permitting, there will be a short walk at the start of the session to collect some materials from Holkham park.
