Do It Now: Pop Up Cinema

18 July 2016

Plantation Garden enhance 600x400

Outdoor cinema events have really risen in popularity over the last few years. It's a real treat on a summer's evening, so it's no wonder that the chance to watch a classic array of films al-fresco - particularly in the beautiful setting of the Plantation Garden - has been such a well-loved premise!

Thursday 21 July sees the launch of the programme of Pop Up cinema screenings (in association with Norwich's local independent arthouse cinema) kicking off with Withnail and I. Also included in this year's schedule is Back To The Future, Dirty Dancing, Casablanca, Monty Python's Life of Brian, The Princess Bride, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Goonies – there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Each screening will start at either 8.30 or 9pm, meaning you'll arrive in enough light to settle into your perfect viewing spot and, as you watch, dusk will fall around you – if you're not too engrossed in the film to notice! There's something so charming about enjoying a movie under the stars, so we'd highly recommend getting tickets very soon.
