The Degree Shows at Norwich University of the Arts
From fashion and fine art, illustration and photography, to film and games design, see this incredible display by the talented graduates at Norwich University of the Arts, open until next Wednesday and over this weekend. This is completely free to see. Many of the students have won awards and some have already secured work in the creative industries; from internships at Oscar-winning Aardman Animations and at Vogue magazine, to permanent roles at visual effects studios and gaming companies of international repute. This is a don’t miss event!

Shrek the Musical at Norwich Theatre Royal
Arrived on Tuesday and here until Sunday 8th July. Join Shrek, (Steffan Harri), his loyal steed Donkey, a gang of fairytale misfits and a biscuit with attitude, as they set off on a quest to rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona (Amelia Lily) from her tower, guarded by a fire breathing love-sick dragon, This hugely successful musical (based on everyone's favourite family film) is colourful, funny and huge fun for all ages. NEW in Norwich – and the Broads...
Norfolk Outdoor Adventures offers kayaking at sunrise and stand-up paddle boarding at sunset, windmill tours, and private tours with everything including tuition and equipment. These experiences will take you into parts of the Norfolk's beautiful Broads you never knew existed, and offer a moment of peace and calm on the tranquil waters of the county's quiet waterways. This is an experience suitable for all levels and abilities. Prices start at £35.00 pp for 3.5 hours.

Dinos at Night!
Once a year Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure opens its gates in the evening to allow guests to come and experience the adventure and excitement through to dusk. As well as the usual dinosaur trail, play areas and prehistoric high-jinx there will be all manner of activities and their new Predator High Ropes to try. The Norwich Astronomy club will be there, plus a BBQ and live music. On Saturday 30th June, 7pm – 9pm. Tickets: £9.50.

Jazz at Plantation Garden
With all this lovely weather head out Sunday 1st July for a Jazz Picnic at The Plantation Garden. Starts at 5.30pm and ends at 8pm; this is a very civilised way to wrap up the weekend at the really gorgeous city centre ornamental garden. There’ll be musical fun with Norwich favourites The He-Hews - “Sophisticated silliness from flapper to disco with a New Orleans twist”. Bring your own picnic, chairs, rugs etc, and hot drinks will be available during the interval. Tickets: Adult £8, Children 5-16 £4, Under 5s Free.

Lastly, don't forget about Circus250 and the Lord Mayor’s Celebration s next weekend! On Friday 6th July from 7pm – 10pm starting in Chapelfield Gardens, 5 life-size elephant puppets will stomp to Gaol Hill and back recreating PT Barnum’s and Bailey’s 1898 parade through Norwich. At Chapelfield Gardens there will be the big top tent, which over the coming week will house some thrilling side shows, circus feats and more. And this is just the start: the whole weekend will be one HUGE celebration with all manner of music, parades, food, fireworks and cabaret, as well as the eagerly anticipated 'Norwich Lanes Garden Party'. We can't WAIT.
